What's up, Spoonlickers!? We're bringing you a remix on a true classic, combining edible cookie dough AND rice krispie treats.
Marshmallows? Yum. Doughp? Heck yes. Chocolate? Who do we think we are, having that much fun in the kitchen?!
If these are the answers you gave, then you’ll be excited to indulge in this rice krispie treat recipe with no bake cookie dough and a chocolate ganache. Can you say good AF?
You can use any flavor you’re craving. For this recipe, we’ll be using the old classic: Ride or Die (AKA Doughp's classic chocolate chip cookie dough).
COOKIE DOUGH RICE KRISPIE TREATS (USING EDIBLE COOKIE DOUGH)
Ingredients
8 oz. Ride or Die Doughp (or Doughp flavor of your choice)
4 tbsp. butter
6 cups marshmallows
7 cups Rice Krispie cereal (6 if you want it more marshmallow-y – we won’t tell!)
8 oz. milk chocolate (either a chopped up bar or chocolate chips)
1/3 heavy cream
Instructions:
1. On medium heat, melt all butter in a pot. Once melted, add 6 cups of marshmallows. Stir until fully melted.
2. Add all 7 cups of rice krispies. Stir until fully combined, then press into a 9x9 pan. Let cool for 5-10 minutes, then press Ride or Die on top of the mixture.
3. For the chocolate, heat up the heavy cream until hot, but not boiling. Slowly pour over chopped up chocolate, stirring the heavy cream in. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes to cool down, then pour over the Doughp.
4. Place in the fridge for 30-45 minutes to let chocolate set. Pull out and cut into squares, then dive in!
