It’s Almost National S’Mores Day! Here’s How to Make One at Home (No Campfire Needed)

August 10 isn’t just any old Thursday. It’s National S’Mores Day! And if you could use s’more tastiness in your life, we have two pieces of great news for you.

First, in honor of the holiday, we’re running a super sale on You Want S’More!? Now through the 10th, we’re adding in a free cup of that delicious Doughp to every dough purchase. Stock your cart with your faves or any new Doughp you’ve been wanting to try. Then, when you check out, we’ll add our rich chocolate dough with marshmallows and graham cracker pieces to your shipment.

And that second piece of good news? While you wait for You Want S’More!? to show up at your door, you can make your own s’mores at home — no campfire necessary.

Fire-free s’mores

You have options here! To get those marshmallows nice and golden-brown (or charred, if that’s more to your liking), you can:

  • Roast them over a gas stovetop or outdoor grill just like you would a campfire
  • Bake them in your oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about five minutes
  • Broil them for 1–2 minutes
  • Microwave them for 20+ seconds (watch them closely or you could end up with a mess!)
  • Air fry them at 370 degrees Fahrenheit for 2–3 minutes

Every option except the first one works best if you put the marshmallow on top of the graham cracker and chocolate, then bake/broil/microwave/air fry the whole stack. Pull it out and top it with the other graham cracker for that oh-so-satisfying smush.

Making swaps to celebrate in style

No lost love for the classic s’more combo — it rocks. But since you’re whipping up these bad boys at home, you can pull from your pantry to try some new flavors.

You could swap the chocolate for (or add it to, if you’re feeling wild):

And instead of the graham cracker, you could try:

The easiest way to savor s’mores

While the s’mores-making options we just outlined don’t require you to build a fire, they can definitely make a mess. If you’re trying to get a no-muss, no-fuss way to celebrate National S’Mores Day on August 10, there’s really no better way than grabbing your own cup of You Want S’More!?

And that’s doubly true because if you order between now and the holiday, you’ll get that cup for free! So what are you waiting for? Place your order and grab your free cup of You Want S’More?! today!
