Four Red Velvet Vixen Recipes for a Delicious Valentine’s Day
Red Velvet Vixen Doughp Drops are officially HERE! And with just about a month left until Valentine’s Day, it’s a perfect time to stock up.
We’ve brought back this fan-fave for a fourth year in a row. So whether you’re a long-time RVV fan or this will be your first year getting into this decadent flavor, we want to help you make the most of it.
With that in mind, we’ve got not one, not two, not three, but FOUR recipes on deck for you.
The easiest-ever mini cake pops
Ingredients
- Melting chocolate (we like Ghirardelli melting dark chocolate)
- Cake pop sticks (toothpicks or skewers could technically work)
- Red Velvet Vixen Cookie Dough Drops
- Toppings of your choice (white chocolate, chopped nuts, sprinkles)
Directions
- Take the Doughp Drops out of the freezer and leave them on the counter for 10 minutes.
- Melt your chocolate in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between.
- Set out parchment paper.
- Stick your cake pop stick in a Bite and dunk it in chocolate.
- Put the mini cake pop on the parchment paper..
- Add any toppings you want — like chopped nuts or a white chocolate drizzle to give it a tuxedo look — and let it cool.
- Transfer to a serving platter and exercise self-restraint (if you want) so you don’t eat them all before you can share them with your Valentine!
Heart-shaped skillet cookies
Ingredients
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Let the Cookie Dough Drops sit on the counter for 10 minutes to soften slightly.
- Press the Drops into your skillet to create a ~½” to ¾” thick layer
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until you have the desired level of gooey doneness.
-
Let cool for ten minutes, then top with whatever you and your Valentine want (maybe some cream cheese ice cream?) and dig straight in.
Oldies but goodies
Just because RVV is coming in Bite form this year doesn’t mean you can’t revisit some of our delicious recipes from years past. You can press a few Drops together to make the cookies for these sandwiches or toss them straight into the mixer to make the frosting for these cupcakes. Just use the full bag in place of the pint both recipes call for.
A very happy Valentine’s to you and yours! Start the celebrations early by grabbing your Red Velvet Vixen Cookie Dough Drops today!
