Scream Truck launched a limited edition 'Love Stack' sundae that will feature Doughp's
Red Velvet Vixen Cookie Dough Drops! (If you haven't tried this flavor yet, you are missing out! It's SOOO good.) The sundae will be available on Scream Truck's menu through
March 12th. We've included the recipe below!
THE LOVE STACK
Ingredients:
- Vanilla ice cream
- Chocolate ice cream
- Chocolate chips
- Strawberries, sliced
- Red Velvet Vixen Cookie Dough Drops
- Whipped Cream
- Chocolate sauce
Recipe:
- Start layering your sundae from the bottom up, beginning with chocolate Ice Cream (ours is soft serve, but hard ice cream works too!)
- Next up, add mini Ghirardelli chocolate chips & fresh sliced strawberries
- Top it off with a layer of Vanilla Ice Cream
- Then comes the Lover's Layer: stack in a handful of Doughp Red Velvet Vixen Cookie Dough Drops, Whipped Cream, and a little Chocolate Drizzle
- Bonus Points: Add a few strawberry slices on top too!

Good Humor brand (pre-packaged ice cream novelties) was the first brand to venture into the "delivery" of ice cream products using trucks that played a "jingle" over a loudspeaker, prompting sweaty kids to sprint down the street waving their arms in hopes of stopping the truck to get a cool treat. That classic ice cream truck has been a mainstay of suburban neighborhoods for decades. In early 2020, I was looking for my next entrepreneurial adventure. Being a huge ice cream fan, I loved and appreciated the nostalgic ice cream truck, but I started thinking about how cool it would be to create the ice cream truck of the future.

These pristine, hot pink trucks play custom music mixes on a boomin' sound system and feature 2 gorgeous LED displays that can be customized for private events (people love this!). The best part is we serve a super premium product including out-of-this-world 'soft scream' (rich, creamy soft serve ice cream), Ghiradelli sauces, artisan waffle cones, premium toppings, plus small batch dairy-free ice cream (served cleverly cubed) and fresh fruit ice pops. To keep things fresh and exciting, Scream Truck is always creating yummy seasonal and limited edition sundaes. I'm always on the hunt for partners that have the same eye for creativity and quality, and the same commitment to serving their communities. After I connected with Kelsey (Doughp Founder/CEO) to explore using Doughp in a special limited edition "stack," I was SO excited to learn about Doughp mission to support people that struggle with mental health and addiction.
Scream Truck will be launching a podcast and YouTube series later this year dedicated to conversations (over ice cream) about mental health and happiness. My life has been filled with immediate and extended family members, friends, and colleagues that have struggled with anxiety, depression, and addiction. Delivering moments of joy to our customers on a daily basis is unbelievably gratifying and surprisingly more powerful than I had even imagined. Taking it one step further and using ice cream as an ice breaker to talk more openly about mental health is going to be my favorite part of this business.
